What is TeenPact?

What is TeenPact?TeenPact is a dynamic, hands-on leadership school for Christian students. Our mission is to train youth to understand the political process, value their liberty, defend their Christian faith and engage the culture at a time in their lives when, typically, they do not care about such things.

The TeenPact experience is one of intentional growth, education and encouragement. We believe that God gives every young person a great spiritual capacity as well as a scriptural mandate to cultivate and use their talents – even before they are old enough to drive, work or vote!  TeenPact trains these young people to embrace their call as the next generation of leaders by giving them tools, teaching and opportunities.

Each TeenPact program is marked by spiritual discipleship, student leadership, parental involvement and a commitment to excellence. Our loyal base of parent volunteers and student leaders keep the vision alive and growing as we continue to expand nationally. Founded in 1994 by Tim Echols, TeenPact currently offers classes in 39 states and counting.

“Changing lives to change the world” is more than a motto to us. It’s literally what we do every day.

Peter Martin - TeenPact CEO Greetings from Richmond, Virginia. We are in the midst of the 2013 TeenPact season and we are excited about the Four Day and One Day classes that are occurring in many Capitols around the country, including our inaugural class in Lincoln, Nebraska! Please visit the individual state pages to register for an upcoming class.

In early January we had over 160 student staffers, Interns, and Program Directors gather in Oklahoma to prepare for the upcoming season. Every individual left better prepared to lead their committees, teach the field experiences and bill skit, as well as spiritually ready to face challenges throughout the season. Spiritual preparation is critically important, not only for our staff teams, but also for our students. As TeenPact Leadership Schools teaches in our classes, lasting answers to the problems we face in America are to be found in God, not in a political party or a political leader.

If you are interested in pursuing additional Christian-based events, consider attending one of our 2013 alumni events. Registration is open for all our events – from National Convention in May to Survival East in October. These events allow your sons and daughters the opportunity to continue developing their faith, and prepares them to engage the culture at a time in their lives when, typically, they don’t care about such things.

As you look forward to 2013, consider registering for the 2013 state class or an alumni event near you.

In Christ,
