Before I came to TeenPact I had been praying for a while about what God wanted me to do for Him during my life. I knew that my career was going to be one where I could impact people for His glory. Teenpact has really shown me what God wants me to do with my life. The political and legal field is the field where one person can make a big difference in the world, which has been my goal for a long time. Through TeenPact, I have learned how and where I can get involved. My ultimate goals of Supreme Court Justice or President, whichever comes first, now seem attainable. TeenPact has prepared me in significant ways for my future life in these fields. I've learned a Biblical perspective on government and law. I am thankful God allowed me to experience Teenpact!

My 9 year old daughter recently attended a TeenPact one-day class here in Montgomery for the first time. Neither one of us had any idea what to expect. We were both pleasantly surprised at the fun and exciting, not to mention, educational day we had. She had prepared diligently and had done all of her homework. She LOVED Tim Echols book "Real Citizenship" although some of it was over her head. She was excited about sitting in the house of rep's and voting on pretend bills. She said it made her feel like she was in charge of the state. After a friend asked me about it later, I said, "You know when Christians are doing something in an excellent manner and being how they are supposed to be? Well, that's what it was like." Your teenage/college interns were so nice and helpful. I have never seen such mature and confident leaders at such a young age. They helped my daughter to feel comfortable from the beginning. It was such a positive experience for us, I just had to let you know how much we enjoyed it and how much we learned. I was glad my daughter got to be around such influential young people to see what you "can" become even in this culture. So rare. She said she wants to attend TeenPact every year.

I really do believe that the world is run by those who show up. TeenPact teaches people to be effective in government and encourages them to show up.

TeenPact’s hands-on and enthusiastic teaching methods are the best way to bring government to life, make it interesting, and show young people how to get involved. Young people with a biblical world-view have to be involved if we are ever going to turn the tide away from secularism.

Young people with biblical values and the knowledge of how to put those values to work in maintaining and building a nation are the foundation upon which our re-emergence as a Christian nation must be built.

Not all of them need to run for political office, but all of them need to be involved.

We do need good candidates, but we also need pastors who understand that God formed governments to stand against evil. We need pastors who will preach about participation and about the role of government and the role of Christians in government.

We need attorneys who will study the original intent of the Founders and argue that original intent in the courtroom.

We need community leaders who are informed and respected. These leaders must speak with authority about the issues facing us and guide their friends and neighbors in political participation. Leaders who speak the truth with authority will make an impact.

These roles, filled by TeenPact graduates, are the foundation needed to rebuild this great nation under God.
