This award is given in memory of one of our finest young leaders who died in a tragic accident on July 31, 2011. Chandler “Jimmy” Brazell was an excellent TeenPact staffer, a gifted worship leader, a passionate missionary and a beloved friend who spent his life telling others about the love of God. Jimmy had one life message: love. He truly understood what it meant to live with compassion and purpose, motivated by God’s love to give hope to the world. Jimmy was known to say, “It takes a lot of love to live” and the winners of this essay contest follow his example of impacting their communities for Christ.
