Why Am I Here?

Two weeks ago, 100 students, parents, and TeenPact staff arrived in our nation’s Capital. Students came by planes and trains, short car rides and multi-day caravans. We had early mornings and late nights, lots of D.C. METRO rides and hours and hours of training sessions, tours, and small group campaign exercises. We gathered for Back to DC, an event chock full… Read more »

Inspiring and Equipping

Endeavor exists to inspire and equip young women to glorify and enjoy God. Over a year ago, when I was invited to step up as the Program Director for TeenPact’s Endeavor programs, I already knew that I loved the vision of Endeavor. The catechistic language was appealing, but, even more than that, such a vision… Read more »

TeenPact is Like a Deck of Cards

It was only last week that I drove away from TeenPact Survival Northwest. Survival was absolutely amazing, and I’m coming to realize that words don’t quite express the things you experience at TeenPact. As I was thinking over what happened at this event, a sort of story started to form in my mind. Maybe you’ll appreciate reading it. TeenPact is… Read more »

Here are a few ways you can relive the #NatCon17 experience:   If you only have… Read more »

The Jimmy Brazell Community Impact Scholarship Award

TeenPact Leadership Schools, in conjunction with the Jimmy Brazell Foundation, presented the Sixth Annual Jimmy Brazell Impact Scholarship Award to TeenPact student Haven Boss from Hawaii. Haven shared her award-winning essay, written in response to the topic question, “How have you impacted the world or your community through servant-minded, Christ-like love?” at National Convention 2017. When most people think… Read more »

Join the brotherhood.

Who are you? Think deeply on these three simple words. Sure, you might answer quickly with your name, where you’re from, or your hobbies. But is that truly answering the question? Are these surface level facts the defining makeup of who we are? Is it our past; the decisions we’ve made, the people we know… Read more »

Saturday – Celebration

Our week at National Convention ended just as it had begun, in full pursuit. Pursuit of the one we were created to know, the only one who can satisfy the longings of our hearts, Jesus Christ. During our time in bonjour, we received the reminder that we have been sent to proclaim that we have… Read more »

Friday – Returns

Morning alarms were snoozed with disbelief all across campus, as the sun burst into our dorm rooms. The excitement for election results following the previous night’s voting hardly allowed time for deep sleep. In a heartbeat, everyone was up and at it, heading to the Conn Center to watch Mr. Burst and Ms. Kiss take… Read more »

Thursday – Digging In

Sunshine and cool temperatures brought students out of their dorms early this morning to grab donuts and enjoy deep conversation together. Lots of students now sit with friends during their time in God’s Word, and encourage one another by sharing stories of small groups and rendezvous from the day before. From the excitement of the week’s… Read more »

Wednesday – The Race

Competition certainly ramped up this Wednesday as frisbee teams returned from the fields with soiled shirts, leaving a muddy trail. Meanwhile, on the volleyball courts, the rain provided a momentary diversion from the competitive spirit, as students celebrated by doing handstands in several inches of water and teams splashed each other to prove their grit….
