Austin Willard and Jackie Ballam
Austin’s bio:
Wow. I still can’t believe that I’m even doing this. If you had asked me back in 2010 when I attended my first National Convention whether I would ever run for anything, I would have told you not in a million years. I was totally fine with hanging out in my comfort zone and had no desire to leave my warm fuzzy circle of familiarity. This changed over the last couple of years as I had the opportunity to staff several classes and be stretched by a ton of incredible people. I am stoked out of my mind for this election, and can’t wait for NC! Win or lose, I know this is going to be a blast. You all have blessed me so much over the last couple of years, and I hope Jackie and I can bless you with our message at National Convention.

Jackie’s bio:
TeenPact has been a really important part of my life for the past 5 years. Throughout the past classes, the interns, travel staff, and PDs have inspired me with their love and dedication to the Lord, and their confidence through their faith. Getting the opportunity to run with Austin for office at NC is and will be an incredible learning experience. Servant leadership is such a pivotal topic for TeenPact, and I know that running for office will be a chance to learn how to grow as a servant. A verse that I love right now is Ephesians 2:10 – “For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, that we should walk in them.” For all of us running for office, I know that God will use this opportunity for His glory. I am so excited for this experience, and blessed that I get to run with Austin. I can’t wait to see how God will work through us and all the other candidates.

James Grinalds and Peter Grinalds
Okay. GREETINGS AMERICA!!! This is James Grinalds here with my brother Peter from Cincinnati Ohio. We are running because it will be fun! Also TeenPact is awesome and it would be an honor to represent the student body. Our slogan is “There is always hope until hope is gone.” And for us, hope is never gone because God is EPIC! Psalm 18 paints a picture of our God that is in all ways awesomer than anything that Hollywood can crank out (including the Avengers). He is both powerful and good. (vs. 18) He is our support, and He rescues us because He delights in us. Amen. Thank you. Thank you. God bless America.

Perseverance Party

Zach Gentzler and Brenn Busker
Zach’s Bio:
I’m running for President with Brenn because I love a challenge, I love people, and I have a message that I wanted to share. Our message is based around the word “Purposefully”. We believe that it is impossible for us to live life fully until we are purposefully pursuing and glorifying God! I’m also really excited to make connections with as many people as I can at NC! I’m a huge bookworm (everything from Hamlet to Hunger Games), music lover (anything from Switchfoot to Soundtracks), a tea fanatic (Super sweet iced tea or hot tea),  a runner (when I’m feeling disciplined), and a huge nerd. I tend to be really passionate about just about everything that I do and am excited to see what opportunities to serve others the campaign will give me.

Brenn’s Bio:
Hey y’all!  My name is Brenn Busker and I am thrilled to be Zach Gentzler’s Vice Presidential running mate in the Perseverance party!  I am a Carolina girl and have loved TeenPact since my first state class in 2010.Our slogan is PurposeFully!  Zach and I want to present you with this idea – we cannot live life Fully until we Purpose to glorify God in everything we do. Normally, we encounter phrases like “Live life to the fullest” or “Live life to the max.”  But what is the point of living “to the max” if we have no direction or purpose? Living purposefully is a mindset.  It’s an attitude.  It’s a perspective. So we challenge you – make your life a mission… not an intermission. Live life like you mean it.  PurposeFully!

Danny Sullivan and Stevie Leifheit
Danny’s Bio:
Heyyo!!! For those of you who do not know me, my name is Danny Sullivan I have lived in the great state of Florida for all of my 17 years on this earth and this is my fifth year involved with TeenPact. I attended the one day class in 07, my first 4-day in 09 and returned as an alumni In 2010. I have had the privilege to travel the country and staff with TeenPact for the past two years, staffing 10 classes in 6 different states. This year will be my third year attending National Convention! which is one of my favorite weeks of the whole year! The most impactful things in TeenPact are the relationships. I have met some of my best friends at these events and have many great friends all across the country. This year at NC while I am running for president I look forward to meeting you for the first time or reuniting again since the last time I saw you! Stevie and I have a message that the Lord has placed on our hearts that we want to share with the entire student body at NC this year. Our campaign slogan is “Chase the lions” God sometimes opens doors or places opportunities at our feet that look scary and our initial reaction is to take a step back. Our message to you is to run after those opportunities, those lions in your life big or small and tackle them! We want to Challenge you to put your full trust in God, to have faith in Him and to Chase the lions! because no matter the odds He will make your paths straight!

I look forward to meeting and really getting to know as many of you as I possibly can and hopefully earning your vote for president at NC!! See you there! :D

Stevie’s Bio:
Snap! It seems like yesterday when I attended my first 4-day state class in ‘09. Enjoying it, I continued to attend my state class for the next two years, for a total of three state classes. After my third class, I was encouraged to apply to staff, and I have been privileged to staff six classes since–Including my home state, Maine. When Danny approached me to run with him I thought he was straight up crazy, but I just couldn’t pass up an opportunity to run with one of my best friends. We’ve decided to give it our all, desiring to grow in Christ and to bring our slogan to as many people as we can. This will be my second National Convention and I am so excited! Win or lose, I’m in this to grow in Christ and spread his love, that is the ultimate goal.

Vision Party

Reagan Tifft and Joy Gebert
Hey y’all, my name is Reagan Tifft!
I was born in Oklahoma, but have had the privilege of also living in Georgia and Arkansas. Now, I’m from New Braunfels, Texas! I fill my free time with piano, guitar, soccer, frisbee, graphic design, anything with water, and mountain biking!  I also enjoy road trips, repairing almost anything (or at least trying).

My history with TeenPact goes back about 12 years. Having three older siblings (Aaron, Kati, and Nathan) who have all attended/led the program, meant that I was “tagging along” pretty early! It didn’t take much for me to love TeenPact, and I couldn’t wait until I was old enough for the One-Day class.

This year, I am super excited to be running for President with Joy Gebert. Our theme/slogan is “Illuminated”. To learn more about that, check out our Facebook group! Hope to see everyone at NC!

For more information visit Reagan and Joy’s webpage here.

Noah Richardson and Jonathan King
Noah’s Bio:
My name is Noah Richardson. It is really exciting to be running for President at National Convention this year! I was born in Atlanta, Georgia and I have lived in Georgia my entire life. God has called me to be a leader in many areas in my life, I am the eldest of five children so things like taking initiative come naturally. I love the Teenpact program, it has changed my life. The Georgia One (2012) staffers were amazing, they are the ones who inspired me to run this year. So keep rocking it Teenpact, I hope that through this you will SEE THE VISION… and let the LORD direct your paths.

Jonathan’s Bio:
I am so excited to be running for Vice President this year at The National Convention! I was born in Boca Raton, Florida but, moved to Georgia before my first birthday. GOD blesses me tremendously every single day of my life! I want to live my life in a way that brings HIM the most Glory! Whereas this is my first year involved with TeenPact, I ran for senator at GA III and have always had the honor and responsibility of being a leader. I am the second of six children so through everyday life I have learned to lead others. I have also been active in scouting for Eight years. I am currently in the process of completing my Eagle Scout Project. I am looking forward to The National Convention 2012! “See the Vision”, and let the Lord direct your paths.

Senators

Compassion Party

Ryan Funkhouser
Hey TeenPact Nation! I am really stoked to get to run for office! The thing I would like to share with you all is the vision that I hope to spread through my campaign. It’s simple and just one word: impact.

For most of us, the importance of making a difference isn’t anything new. But it is so easy to lose sight of that call and become distracted by the things of our culture. We have such an infinitely valuable message of hope in Christ, but we often, myself included, let it gather dust on the “bookshelf” of our life. But I love how the solution is found in the word impact itself, because if you notice, the word “act” is found inside the word “impact,” and it is as simple as that. I hope you will catch the vision to continually make an impact for Christ by taking action!

Katie Twibell
I live in Savannah, GA and although I am from the South, I am a dual citizen of both the United States and Canada. It was an honor to serve the Lord by representing GA 1 as Governor this year. I enjoyed the campaign process so much that I wanted to continue that experience at NC. TeenPact had made an eternal impact on my life and I have created many wonderful friendships, including that of my best friend. :) It is my greatest joy to run for senate and serve God, wherever He leads this year at NC! Most of all, I am looking forward to the reward of serving my peers and the relationships that stem from this impacting week.

For more information visit Katie’s webpage here.

Other Senators running in the Compassion Party:
Samantha Roose.

Perseverance Party

Shelby Bennett
No regrets. It’s an idea that may be brand-new or cliché. It’s one that can challenge each of us. It’s a reminder that this brief and temporary life impels us to live each moment to the fullest, making the most of every opportunity. It’s a phrase that encourages me to remember the eternal perspective, and reminds me that I will never regret following Jesus. It’s my campaign slogan, my life motto, and the message I hope to share in this senatorial campaign. Take a minute to think about how you can live an all-out, radical, crazy life for Jesus; I can guarantee that you will never regret it.

And remember, vote Bennett for Senate. (It rhymes.)

Philip Randazzo
My name is Philip Randazzo and I am very excited to run for TeenPact Senator! Being 17 years old, I come from the sunshine state itself, Florida!  A few extra-circular activities I enjoy include playing Piano and guitar, competing in Speech and Debate and performing in drama productions! The main reason I am running this year isn’t as much to win the office of Senator, but to share with you guys what God has been teaching me this year. Mainly about how we can LIVE FOR CHRIST! We face opportunities each day to share God’s love, and we have the potential that God gives us to shine His light to others. We must also LIVE FOR CHRIST by being constantly in his word and in his glory through our personal decisions and that’s what I’d love to share with you guys! LIVE FOR CHRIST! VOTE FOR PHIL!

For more information visit Philip’s webpage here

Sierra Holmes
My name is Sierra Holmes, and I am running for National Convention’s 2012 Senator!  My goal this year is to “SHAKE THE FAKE”, and stand out for Christ wherever I am. I want to make such an impression for Christ that I don’t even have to mention His name, and yet everyone knows I’m one of His!  It is my desire to be more intentional with the opportunities that God places before me to share His love.  I want to be the one, when I walk away, that people ask, “What is different about her?” In Hebrews 13:8 itsays “Jesus is the same yesterday and today and forever.” So many of the Christians who are out there today can’t even stay consistent from Sunday to Sunday! WE must “SHAKE THE FAKE” and stand out. WE must be the ones who stay on fire 24/7!!

Kailey Hogan
I’m Kailey Hogan and I’m from a small town in the hills of Arkansas! I enjoy reading, writing, playing guitar, deep conversations and running barefoot through tall grass. I’ve been jovially involved with TeenPact from 2011-2012, given the opportunity to go to two State Classes, National Convention 2011, and Back to D.C. I am running forSenate for the opportunity to stretch myself, to become more involved with public speaking, and to become more familiar with the political process. I chose the perseverance party because it grants illegal immigrants who have deep family ties the path to citizenship, but still allows states to secure their borders and to repatriate any illegal immigrants who don’t have family ties. I am very thankful for this opportunity to run for Senate, and I would very much appreciate your vote!

For more information visit Kailey’s webpage here.

Kal Busker
Hey guys!  My name is Kal Busker, I’m from North Carolina, and I’m running for Senator in the Perseverance party!  I’ve been homeschooled since 1st grade.  I play golf and basketball legitimately, and every other sport (minus curling) with my friends.  I have an older sister, Brenn, who is amazing!  I really love TeenPact and it has strengthened my walk with the Lord!  My campaign slogan is “Live every day like it’s Christmas”, based on 2 Timothy 1:9 which say “For God saved us and called us to live a holy life. He did this, not because we deserved it, but because that was his plan from before the beginning of time—to show us his grace through Christ Jesus.”  I’m really looking forward to running, and meeting everyone.

Other Senators running in the Perseverance Party:
Morgan Hatfield, Andrew Hernandez, Gene Hynson, Julia Koehler, Lauren Smith.

Vision Party

Allison Kelly
Hey everyone! I’m Allison Kelly from the First State of Delaware. And no, Delaware is not in New England. ;) I’m running for TeenPact Senate this year in the Vision party. I can’t wait to meet all of the new people through this and to see how God will stretch and use me (as I know He will) for His glory. My slogan is “Light It Up!” Eph. 5:8-9 says “For at one time you were in darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Walk as children of the light (for the fruit of light is found in all that is good and right and true).” I hope to encourage everyone at National Convention to look at their life and see if they’re living in a way that produces the fruit of light. If not, then… “light it up!”. I hope to see you/meet you at NC!

Patrick Spain
Hi! I’m Patrick Spain, campaigning to be your Senator from the Vision Party.  Although I hail from North Carolina, I have practically no accent at all, and am not very country.  I’m 16 and a rising Junior and I act, play piano and laugh manically among other things.  My campaign is based on Ezekiel 11:19, “An I will give them one heart, and I will put a new spirit within them; and I will take the stony heart out of their flesh, and will give them a heart of flesh.”  Ezekiel had the one of the hardest callings of any prophet, his whole life became a sign to the people, even the death of his wife.  As Christians, we must be filled with the Holy Spirit and beseech God, because he will go before us to change the hearts of people.  This is the Christian statesman’s goal.

Hannah Mosley
I was born in Atlanta, GA to my wonderful parents, Gerald and Sylvia Mosley. Growing up around sports, as a competitive swimmer for over 12 years, I always enjoyed competing with friends and teammates–particularly, my older sister, Erin. The challenges and growth that competition presented taught me that to be an effective and godly leader, one must be gracious, encouraging, and most of all–humble through accomplishing personal goals or learning God’s will through defeat. As a third year TeenPact student, I am honored to be running for senate at National Convention to hopefully serve as a leader, but also to continue being transformed by God through whatever endeavors lie ahead. My campaign verse, Jeremiah 29:13 reads, “You will seek Me and find Me, when you seek Me with all your heart. That is first and foremost my goal in running, and my prayer for all my fellow students and friends.

For more information visit Hannah’s webpage here.

Hudson Barry
I am Hudson Barry. This year I am old enough to vote in our country’s elections. After I turned 18, I began thinking more about politics and statesmanship, even more than in 2009 when I first attended a TeenPact State Class and the National Convention.

Through the high-school years, my interests have ranged from film-making, to WWII history, to computer programming, to stock market investing, to ultimate frisbee, to food, to politics, to government. I work in property maintenance, diverse manual labor, video-production, bedding retail, and on a small scale, investing. I am considering a career in film-making to influence the film industry with Biblical values.

I am running for Senator because I believe our generation needs to be prepared to take the responsibility of citizenship seriously. I am running a sincere campaign because I want to help TeenPacters think about real issues and help them prepare for the ballot.

For more information visit Hudson’s webpage here.

Hannah Campbell
Hi! My name is Hannah Campbell, and I am running for Senator at National Convention this year. I am from Tyler Texas, but I grew up as a missionary kid in the Amazon jungle of Brazil. I first attended TeenPact in 2008, and have come to love it more every year. I am running for Senate because I want to serve you, as a fellow TeenPacter, to the best of my abilities.

My campaign motto is Shadow of the Cross. God has been teaching me just how important it is to live life in the Shadow of the Cross, and to view our everyday circumstances with the remembrance of what Christ has done for us.Shadow of the Cross reminds me that I am nothing, but Christ is everything. That is the message I will be sharing at NC, and is something I hope you will think about as well.

Abi Shackelford
Hey there, everyone! I’m Abigail Shackelford, and I’m running for Senate this year in the Vision Party. I am seventeen, and have been involved in TeenPact for three years. This year I was blessed with the opportunity to serve as a staffer, which has been such an incredible blessing in my life! I love National Convention and am so excited to be a part of the election process again this year! I was voted Representative last year, and I cannot wait to be apart of the election process again this year. Aside from TeenPact, I love art, listening to music, hanging out with friends, dancing, exploring the great outdoors by any means available, and most of all I love simply reading a good book.

I cannot wait to see old friends and meet new ones at Nation Convention; I hope you will consider blessing me with your vote for Senate!

God Bless!

Stuart Leach
Hello, my name is Stuart Leach I am from Pennsylvania and am running for the office of Senator with the Vision Party! This is my second year at National Convention, with my 5th year involved with TeenPact! I am running on the slogan of “Be Available”, meaning to be available to Christ for Him to use you. My campaign verse is 2 Timothy 1:7-9:

“For God did not give us a spirit of timidity, but a spirit of power, of love and of self-discipline. So do not be ashamed to testify about our Lord, or ashamed of me His prisoner. But join with me in suffering for the gospel, by the power of God who has saved us and called us to a holy life.”

God is always giving us opportunities to be His messengers to the world, we just have to make ourselves available for Him to use how He sees fit. What good is a message that is never delivered? When your cell phone is unable to send a text message, how can the other person possibly know what you’re trying to say? Make yourself available to God’s cell signal, and the texts about God’s love will reach the nations! I am totally psyched to meet you all and to be a part of God’s plan at National Convention! God Bless!

Representatives

Compassion Party

John Nystrom
My name is John Nystrom, and I am 16 years old. I live in Rogers, AR, and have been going to TeenPact’s week classes for 4 years. Last year I became one of AR’s state Sentors, and this year I was able to become its Governor. My interests are kayaking, otters, the Scottish writer George MacDonald, and Irish music. The reasons I am running for Representative are that I want to challenge myself, and share with others my slogan and statement. My slogan: For the Love of God. My statement: Our most ardent ambition should be For the Love of God to govern our lives and our souls; everything inside of us.

Daniele DeLucco
Hi I’m Daniele! I’m from Maine, I live with my parents, two dogs, cat, and chickens. In my spare time, I love to read, write, bake and play piano. I fell in love with TeenPact two years ago and it’s amazing how it’s changed my life. Me talking to people is one example. Last year on my fist day at the State Class, I could barely look someone in the eye and say hello. But by the end of the four days I had made it out of primary elections for Senator and was speaking in front of my State Class with confidence. This year, I wanted to see my servant leadership skills be grown even more, and what better way then running for Office at NC! I’m excited to see what God is going to do through me during elections. No matter the out come is in these elections, all the glory goes to Christ.

Charles Nystrom
My name is Charles Nystrom, I’m sixteen years old, and I live in Rogers, Arkansas. I’ve been going to the Arkansas States Class for four years, and campaigned several times for senator and governor. I’m interested in planting trees, playing piano, listening to alternative music, and reading Sherlock Holmes stories. I am running this year because I know it will test me, and I want to share the theme behind my campaign. My slogan is “What are you rooted in?” I’m asking people to examine the choices they make and the atmospheres that surround them, because these things affect their spiritual growth.

Austin Canfield
Hey everyone! My name is Austin Canfield and I’m so pumped to be running for Representative this year at NC! I’m from the amazing state of Oklahoma (And yes, the wind often does come sweeping down the plane). I’m 17 years old and play tennis, guitar, love recording music, and I’m a photographer! I’ve had the opportunity of going to TeenPact state class for 2 years now, and this will be my second time at National Convention. My campaign slogan is “Live Like We’re Alive”. I just want to encourage you guys not to let the world tell you that you can’t make a difference with your life. So many people listen to that and then become complacent and don’t strive to do anything great with their lives. Romans 8:13 says, “For if you live according to the flesh, you will die; but if by the Spirit you put to death the deeds of the body, you will live”. So let’s strengthen our relationship with God so we can put to death the deeds of the body. He’ll give us the boldness we need to live for Him. Let’s live like we’re alive! Thanks for reading, and I’d really appreciate your vote. Can’t wait to see what God has in store for us this year at NC!!

Anna Heritage
My name is Anna Heritage, and I hail from the city of Savannah, Georgia (where seersucker, “Hey Y’all!”, and sunny weekends at the beach reign supreme). I have 3 younger brothers and a few cats, dogs, and chickens to spice up life at the Heritage homestead. I’ve been involved with TeenPact for 3 years, and every minute of it has enriched my life. I can’t wait to meet y’all, play some frisbee and run for representative at National Convention! Cast your vote for Anna from Savannah!

Kjia Zuroweste
Hi everyone! I am Kjia Zuroweste and I am running in the Perseverance Party for Representative. I have been to TeenPact twice and am part of the ambassador program. This will be my first time at National Convention which means my first time running there. A little bit more about myself; I love most every sport, almost all genres of music, I love animals especially my chickens. Now onto a few of my views. This year the issue is Illegal Immigration. How do I stand on this? Well, since I am in the Perseverance Party, I believe the US should allow states to secure their borders, while allowing those here illegally with deep family ties a path to legality and those without ties a dignified repatriate. In addition, penalties should be lobbied against businesses that in any way support undocumented workers. If you disagree in any way i would like to know about it. After all, you are the reason for my campaign and I want to do my best to represent you. I feel like I am being called to lead and this will be a big step into leadership. When God calls us to act on something, it is our duty to obey what He says and I believe He wants me to do this. I would greatly appreciate your support on this campaign and am looking forward to speaking with you all at National Convention! BE STRONG! NEVER GIVE UP! – Kjia Zuroweste for Rep 2 Chronicles 15:7

Caroline Duncan
Hi! I’m Caroline Duncan. I’m from Sweet Home Alabama, and I’m so excited to be running for Representative this year! This is my fourth year being involved with TeenPact, and I’m loving every minute of it. Besides TeenPact, I enjoy swimming, violin, writing, teaching swimming lessons, growing closer to the Lord, playing keyboard in my youth praise team, and being with my friends.  There are so many reasons why I’m running this year, but I’ll only share the top three. Through my campaign, I want to encourage all of us in our walk with Christ, meet new people, and just have fun! And even if you can’t make it to NC this year, I hope you’ll consider me when you vote absentee.  I’m so grateful for the opportunity to run this year, and I can’t wait to meet all of you guys!

For more information visit Caroline’s webpage here.

Suzi Goodrich
Hey everyone! My name is Suzi Goodrich; I’m the oldest of six, 17 years old, originally from California, and now a southern girl from Georgia!  My slogan this year is, BE HUNGRY…Hungry as in hungry for the word of God! Matthew 5:6 “Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they shall be satisfied.”  I am running this year because I want to step up, get out of my comfort zone and take a leadership role! Alex and Brett Harris put how I’ve felt recently very well -“you feel called to do the extraordinary for God, but you feel stuck in the ordinary”. So this year I wanted to get out and do something I wouldn’t usually do, and running for Representative is just that!

For more information visit Suzi’s webpage here.

Anna Simmler
My name is Anna Simmler, I am from the great state of Maine, and I am running for representative.
My campaign slogan is simple: glow. As Christians, we have the light of Christ in us, so how can we help but shine?
There is no off switch, and we can’t wake up one day and decide to blend in with the world. I’m running for Representative with the goal of inspiring fellow Christians to not be ashamed of the light of Christ, and to never be afraid to shine for the glory of God.

Elyse Pendergrass
My name is Elyse Pendergrass, and I come from the great state of Kansas, where I was first dragged to my state class kicking and screaming. However, I have now completed the alumni track this year, and even intern for my state Senate. God works in amazing ways, doesn’t he? I am running for representative because I am looking to stretch myself. This is slightly out of my comfort zone, which leads me to my campaign slogan, “FEARLESS.” Joshua 1:9 says, “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous; do not fear, for the LORD your God will be with you wherever you go.”To me, being ‘FEARLESS” means being bold and doing the hard things in life, because who can stop you when you have God on your side?! I am thrilled to have the opportunity to step up to the Lord’s calling by challenging myself.

Hannah Funk
Hey Guys! My name is Hannah Funk i’m from Georgia. I’m super excited to be running for Representative this year. This is my third year being involved in TeenPact, & man has it had amazing impact on my life! From the state class to staffing this year, I have been impacted & challenged in so many ways. I am so thankful for this amazing ministry in my life. My slogan is “Got Funk?” & its based off of Romans12:2 which says, “Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is —his good, pleasing and perfect will.” I just want to encourage ya’ll to as the verse says “Do not conform any loner to the patterns of this world.” i want to be so different from this world that people will think, “what so different about them?”  You Guys don’t know how excited I am to meet all of you this year at National Convention!!

Dorian Bush
Hello! My name is Dorian Bush. I am from central Indiana and I am 17 years old. Since my first year of TeenPact, God has shown me how important it is to have leaders that are willing to serve others and stand up for what is right. I believe those leaders are very rare, especially in our generation. I am running for TeenPact Representative because I want to learn and grow as a leader. I want to be a leader that is not afraid to stand up and let my voice be heard, and to show others how they can do the same. Even if you are not old enough to vote, your opinion still matters and your voice can be heard. So Speak Out!!! Vote for Dorian!

Luke Martin
Hi, my name is Luke Martin and I am really excited to be running for Representative this year at National Convention!  Being the sixth of eight children family life is never boring.  I have the privilege of volunteering at the TeenPact National Office during the State Class Season. Yes I did make a lot of your nametags for the class.  One of my favorite things to do is spend an afternoon reading a book, old or new.  I love playing all kinds of sports: especially Baseball and Ultimate Frisbee. I joy in listening to and singing music (usually very off-key) especially in worship to the Lord!  I am running for Representative to step out of my comfort zone and learning more about trusting in God.

My name is Lindsay Harris, I’m 17 and this year will be my fourth year involved with TeenPact.  I’ve lived in Georgia my whole life but recently moved to Virginia.  Like most students who have been involved with this organization, TeenPact has really challenged me to get out of my comfort zone and take on leadership rolls.  Because of this, I wanted to run for representativethis year.  The idea behind my campaign is something that God has been teaching me.  With recently moving from a place I’ve lived my whole life to another state it was easy to not be happy with the way my life was going.  Through this God has reminded me that my life is part of something bigger, His story.  So, I chose the slogan: “The Big Story, we’re all apart.”  I wanted to remindeveryone that their lives are part of “The Big Story”.

Will Payne
Hi! My name is Will Payne, from the great state of Georgia, and I am thrilled to be running for Representative this year at National Convention.  For my slogan, I have chosen “No Payne, No Gain.”   Yes, it’s a play on words, but the message I want to convey through it is that we should never forget the dedication of the generations before us, who fought and died for our liberty.  As the Korean War Veterans Memorial in Washington D.C. says, “Freedom is not Free”.  Without the willing sacrifice of our forbearers, and hundreds of thousands of men and women in uniform today, we would not possess many of the blessings we now enjoy.  As a TeenPact Representative, I believe that I can better inspire both youth and adults to make the sacrifices necessary to keep our country strong and great.  For more info, including a short video, please visit my website at payneforrepresentative.weebly.com.  I hope you will honor me with your vote!

Freddy Geiser
A strong Visionist, Freddy Geiser is running as a United States Representative at TeenPact 2012. Freddy believes that America doesn’t have enough jobs for immigrants, and that we can’t afford to pay for their welfare and healthcare. He believes that America should protect ALL of her borders with the states’ National Guard, and should not reward illegal immigrants by allowing them to stay. Having attended the TeenPact State Class in Atlanta last February, Freddy is looking forward to this year’s National Convention and to glorify God with his campaign. Once again, Freddy would like to thank all of his supporters and PACs for help with Rethinking America.

Matthew Riling
My name is Matthew Riling and I am running for Representative in the Vision party!  I am sixteen and have been involved in TeenPact for three years.  I am a native-born Texan and have lived in Texas my whole life.  I love to spend time with my family going on trips and playing sports, especially baseball, football, and of course…Frisbee!

My slogan is ONE WAY!  It is based on Philippians 3:12-14, which says,

“Not that I have already obtained it or have already become
perfect, but I press on so that I may lay hold of that for which
also I was laid hold of by Christ Jesus.
Brethren, I do not regard myself as having laid hold of it yet; but one thing I do: forgetting what lies behind and reaching forward to what lies ahead, I press on toward the goal for  the prized of the upward
call of God in Christ Jesus.”

Don’t go back to the old sinful life!  We have been forgiven, now live in Christ and He lives in us!  Press on toward the goal God has sent us here to do:  introducing His Son to the lost!   =)
