Irrefutable Love

As a Christian in this culture, it is easy to become lukewarm or even doubtful of our faith. Our school system teaches an absence of God and we are faced with constant distractions. Our country has become increasingly indifferent to the gospel and is rapidly drifting away from the Christian ideals that America was founded on. It is a sad truth that many young Christians simply go through the motions until they reach college and see their parent’s faith seemingly destroyed by a college professor. This has led to a country that directly opposes God’s law: Millions of children have been legally killed in their mother’s wombs because of abortion, our courts have legalized gay marriage, and children are taught in our public schools that God doesn’t even exist.

What must we do? How can we put an end to these evils in our country? The Bible gives us the answer in Ephesians 4:15: “Instead, we will speak the truth in love, growing in every way more and more like Christ, who is the head of his body, the church.” We speak the truth in love. This is the fundamental truth behind the message I have shared through my campaign within TeenPact. We must know what we believe and how to share it with love. We must know what we believe because without it we are vulnerable to the false ideologies that sway so many in our world. And we must share it with love because without love, all that we do is worthless, and will seldom accomplish true change. (1 Corinthians 13:1).

We must start by knowing what we believe. Every day, the line between right and wrong, good and evil, is becoming clearer and clearer. Think about it.

In our day and age, it takes very little to see the evil that exists within our country. If we don’t stand up against it, America will continue down its current path– and this path leads to destruction.

How does love come into this message? It may seem harsh or even mean to tell someone they are believing a lie, but consider this: Christ came to Earth and gave his life to save mankind. He is the only source of true love, so if someone doesn’t know this truth, how will they ever experience true love? God is love. When you share His truth, you are sharing love. Love is not only essential to this message, but love is this message. I encourage you to speak the truth in love, because in God’s gracious plan, He is using us to impact our country and our world.
