Alena Wieland

Alena was born and raised in Iowa, surrounded by cornfields. While she still calls that welcoming state her home, she’s recently traded her rural upbringing for ‘Big City Life’ and now lives in a town of 60,000 people.

Her story with TeenPact first began at the One-Day class where she realized for the first time that she actually wouldn’t pass out when public speaking. A few years later at the Four-Day class, she found that TeenPact was much more than just civic education. TeenPact is where she met some of her best friends, grew in life skills, and discovered her passions.

Cooking a good meal, finding a new book, and taking walks with her husband are some of the many things that Alena loves to be obsessed with. Noticing the little details in life is a passion that she exercises in all areas of her life, whether it’s writing emails or simply catching up with a friend.

She is excited to use her experiences and abilities to help share TeenPact with others and inspire the next generation of leaders.
