Annelise Carley

Annelise grew up in Irvine, California, near Los Angeles, before her family moved to South Dakota five years ago. Since then, she has loved the four seasons, strong community, work opportunities, and chances for missions outreach. In her free time, Annelise enjoys painting, running on early summer mornings, playing piano, and exploring new places and foods with her siblings. She has traveled to 18 countries, including Japan, Denmark, Thailand, Mongolia, and North Korea, and even lived in India for just over a month. Annelise currently works on an ambulance as an EMT and is in paramedic school, where she loves learning how to help injured and sick people through the many ways God designed the human body to heal. She also plans to keep her EMS license and is pursuing an online bachelor’s degree in business.

Annelise first attended TeenPact in 2023 after her dad signed her and her brother up for Four Day State Class. Although she expected it to be little more than a political nerd camp, she quickly discovered a week full of civic engagement, biblical teaching, prayer, and faithful young leaders. Through TeenPact, the Lord has shown Annelise how He can change lives to follow Christ wholeheartedly when His people are willing, obedient, and faithful in prayer. Having been blessed by the ministry as a student, she is excited to inspire the next generation of students to work hard for the Lord in every circumstance. This season, Annelise is especially looking forward to meaningful conversations with students about sharing their faith, memorizing Scripture, and walking in step with their Savior and King.
