2019 TeenPact Intern

Ashlyn Waldbeser

Ashlyn Waldbeser is a first generation southerner. Born and raised in the slow-paced, but spunky small town of Palmetto, Georgia, Ashlyn loves being surrounded by her two fantastic parents, two brothers, three sisters, brother-in-law, and four cats.

Ashlyn’s TeenPact journey began with a Four Day Class in 2014. Following in the footsteps of her older siblings, Ashlyn experienced one of the hardest, but also most influential weeks of her life, and she loved every challenging moment of it. When her parents gave her a choice the next year about returning to state class, she knew there was no way she would miss it! Ashlyn loves TeenPact because it creates a safe place for youth to do hard and uncomfortable things. Even more than this, though, she loves that, at every TeenPact event, the gospel is preached and the goal, above all else, is to glorify Christ. Ashlyn is delighted to be serving as a 2019 TeenPact Intern and looking forward to seeing the good news of the Gospel wreck lives and then restore hope. She sees herself as a broken individual who has been saved by grace and is thrilled to be vulnerable about her brokenness as she celebrates God’s glorious grace.

Although she’s lived in the same house since she was six months old, by no means is she a homebody. Ashlyn loves making new friends and being around her favorite people. Spontaneous and joyful, Ashlyn is a lover of rain storms, hot tea, classic literature, timeless stories, and naps. When she has spare time, she loves to spend it reading in her hammock, picnicking with friends, going on long walks, and making music. She’s played piano for the past eleven years and now blends her love for children and teaching young minds as she teaches piano lessons. Ashlyn would love to continue pursuing these passions as an elementary school teacher in an under-served area of Atlanta or overseas.
