Caleb Kamuiru

I was born in Silver Spring, Maryland just outside Washington, DC but moved to Michigan (the mitten) at five years old. Now I live in Flushing Michigan, a quaint small town.

In my free time I’m either playing basketball, frisbee, or my guitar. I especially love music whether it’s listening on a drive or getting to help lead musical worship at my local church. My family is originally from Kenya and while on a trip there to visit family, I was attacked and picked up off the ground by a baby buffalo.

My future goals are to work in politics/government in some way and possibly hold an elected office (if it’s the Lord’s will). In terms of preparation, this past school year I had the privilege of interning with a Michigan state representative where I was able to apply a ton of what I have learned through Teenpact.

I’m currently studying Politics & Policy at Liberty University. My first Teenpact experience was a one day class in 2018. Having grown up in a Christian home, God was always part of my life but never the main focus, but it was during my first four day class in 2020 where I truly started to know the Lord. God has used Teenpact to transform my life in every way imaginable; it has shown me what it looks like to live on fire for Christ, it has made me a more confident individual, it has sparked a passion for worship, and it has shown me how vital it is for believers to be active in the institution of government.

I’m excited to have a front row seat this season to watch the Lord work in the lives of so many, awakening hearts with a passion for Christ.
