Dr. Dave Gibson

Dave Gibson is a native of Atlanta, Georgia. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Christian Education at Lee University, a Master of Divinity from the Church of God School of Theology and in 2006, he completed his doctoral program in Strategic Leadership and Organizational Development from Regent University in Virginia Beach, VA.

 

Dave is married to Tami Peterson Gibson, a retired Christian School teacher. He has two sons: Zachary is a Major in the USMC, and Micah is dean of students/faculty at Worldview at the Abbey. He also has two beautiful grandkids, David and Ruth.

 

Dave is an Ordained Bishop with the Church of God, Cleveland, TN. He is a retired U.S. Navy Chaplain, serving 29 years, with numerous stateside and overseas assignments to include Italy and Japan. He served also with the USMC and USCG. He has been adjunct faculty at the Pentecostal Theological Seminary since 2008 where he teaches Conflict Reconciliation in the Doctorate of Ministries program. Presently, he runs a non-profit with a mission to reach the small church with training and consultation for the many needs and issues they face.

 

Dave began class directing with TeenPact in 2024, although his son Micah Gibson has been a TeenPact Class Director for a number of years. He is looking forward to serving the leaders and students at upcoming State Classes. and being used to impact the next generation of leaders for the cause of Christ and teach them how to impact their communities in which they live.
