Ellie was born in Bend, Oregon, before moving to Scottsdale, Arizona, when she was four years old. Growing up in Arizona, where nearly every house has a pool in the backyard, Ellie and her four siblings spent many days swimming away the heat, riding bikes around the neighborhood, and fishing together. In her free time, she loves swimming, spending time with friends and family, creating art of any kind, baking, especially banana bread, writing, and going on adventures. A fun fact about Ellie is that she has done taekwondo with her family for five years and has earned a third-degree black belt.
Ellie recently earned her bachelor’s degree in business and hopes to use her dog grooming skills to one day start her own mobile dog grooming van. She would love for it to be a way to admire the Lord’s creation through art and creativity while also sharing the good news. Ellie first attended TeenPact in 2021 after her mom signed her and her brother up for Four Day State Class, and she quickly fell in love with the ministry. Through TeenPact, she came to understand the depth and importance of the political process and realized that she has a voice. She is thankful for how TeenPact has helped her grow in character and deepen her relationship with Christ, and this season she is excited to meet new people, build meaningful relationships, and show others the joy found in Jesus.
