Emily grew up in Oklahoma City, but when she met her husband Alan working at a Texas summer camp, her heart was bound for The Lone Star State. Alan and Emily raised their three kids, Lauren, Molly, and Kyle, in Fort Worth and Sugar Land. In 2021, the couple relocated to Edmond, Oklahoma where Emily enjoys gardening, teaching at a pregnancy center, playing board games, and watching Kyle’s high school baseball games.
In 2017, Emily chaperoned the family’s first Four Day TeenPact State Class and was especially impressed with the dynamic, engaging, Christ-centered atmosphere managed by well-prepared young people. The Hutsons were hooked and happily joined in wherever they could.
