Emily Matson hails from the picturesque town of Rome, Georgia, located in the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains. She lives there with her husband, Patrick Alan Matson (her life and law partner) and three children – Beau, Lily, and Jack.

TeenPact started changing Emily’s life from the moment she first attended as a student in 1995. She credits it with setting her on a course of public engagement and service, reinforcing her Biblical worldview, and providing a world of positive peer pressure that held her accountable through her formative years. Emily has remained involved in TeenPact as a Board Member because she loves seeing TeenPact continue to change thousands of lives like hers. She was influential in laying the foundation for the TeenPact Florida State Class and directed TeenPact Judicial for many years.
