Kari Daws

Kari was born and raised deep in the heart of Texas with her four older sisters on a five-acre slice of heaven. When at home, you can often find her riding horses with her dad or drinking sweet tea with her mom.

Kari is enthusiastic about the beautiful gift of life itself but is especially passionate about Jesus and people. She loves crickets chirping on a summer evening, the smell of rain, spontaneous adventure, and sunset drives with the windows down. Kari has a deep love for music, singing, and playing instruments, especially through leading others in worship. Kari loves experiencing new things and meeting new people. She has a deep desire to travel and see the world, as well as to share the heart of the Gospel with the lost and the unreached. Rich literature is greatly important to her, as well as deep conversations surrounding apologetics, philosophy, and theology.

Kari believes passionately that the ground beneath one’s feet is a mission field, and that as Christians we are called to be the aroma of Christ in every area of influence, including politics. After her first State Class in 2022, the fire the interns and staffers had for Jesus inspired Kari to apply to staff, which stretched and grew her in her relationship with the Lord as well as her identity in Christ. Kari is humbled and over the moon thrilled to witness the Lord’s steadfast faithfulness again and again, and to lean on His strength while serving in the role of Traveling Intern. Her prayer is to see lives and hearts touched by the Father’s transforming love.
