State Class Field Director

Laurel Morton

Laurel Morton proudly calls Lee’s Summit, Missouri—land of great jazz and amazing barbeque—home.

Her TeenPact journey began when she met a New Mexico TeenPact student who had recently relocated to Missouri. This alumni girl asked the Morton family to help open TeenPact in Missouri and as they say, the rest is history. Before becoming TeenPact’s first State Class Field Director, Laurel served as the Missouri State Coordinator for ten years.

When she is not collecting TeenPact friends, you can find Laurel planning an adventure with her favorite people (her husband, RE, three sons and daughters of her heart, 5 grandkids, and the adorable small pup, Elsie). Laurel’s dream job would be to be a National Park Ranger—she loves hiking, identifying flora and fauna, hunting, camping, fishing, etc. National Parks make her heart really happy! If you can enjoy a cup of tea with Laurel, make sure you ask her about the time President George W Bush gave her his flag lapel pin.
