Lori Gaines happily calls her family’s quaint hobby farm outside Worden, Illinois home. This is where she and her husband, Doug, raised their three children, having lots of fun along the way.
When dear family friends invited her oldest daughter to attend TeenPact with them over a decade ago, little could Lori, or the rest of the Gaines family, have guessed how much they would all come to love TeenPact! Lori’s organizational gifts were quickly noticed, and she was recruited to serve as the Lunch Mom for TeenPact Illinois. Shortly after this, she was asked to be the Illinois State Coordinator, a role she happily filled for six years, going on to become a State Class Field Director in 2017!
Lori thrives when serving those around her. When she’s not wearing her TeenPact hat, she may be found serving in her husband’s small business as the receptionist and office manager, planning events, serving as the Music Ministry Coordinator for her church, cooking for people she loves, encouraging her kids, or playing with her two adorable grandkids. With her go-get-’em spirit, it’s no surprise that as a kid, she once rode a pig bareback for a 4-H Competition!
While she and her husband are now empty-nesters, they enjoy opening their home to family, friends, and travelers with the desire to invest in others and share their love for Christ.
