Madelyn Fryer is more delightful than a tall glass of sweet tea on a hot, southern, summer day. Calling the happiest city in the state, Tyrone, Georgia, home, Madelyn has lived in Georgia her whole life with her wonderful parents, three brothers, and a very talkative chocolate lab.
She began her time with TeenPact in 2013 as a TeenPact Four Day Student exploring the historic halls of the Georgia State Capitol. Although she was unsure at first, she quickly decided TeenPact was amazing. Madelyn’s first TeenPact experience had a widespread impact on her life – most importantly though, it impacted her confidence. Putting her trust in the work God is doing gives her the freedom to live confidently. There are two things that keep Madelyn coming back year after year. First, are the intentional friendships she has developed with TeenPacters across the nation. Second, is the opportunity TeenPact creates for God to continually reveal her need to be dependent on Him. Madelyn is excited to be a part of TeenPact’s vision to impact the Kingdom of God as she serves this year as a 2019 TeenPact Intern. The conversations, the interactions, the laughs, the memories, the new friendships, the staff teams, the pictures, the worship, and the lessons will all reflect something greater than herself – God’s glory.
Quick and always down for fun, Madelyn grew up playing football everyday after school with her brothers and their neighbors. If she isn’t chasing a ball with them, you can find her playing soccer, studying violin, dancing, spending time with friends, or mentoring girls. When Madelyn isn’t traveling, she keeps her bank account healthy by working at a local coffee shop as a barista, aspiring to do latte art that doesn’t look like a styrofoam marshmallow. In her spare time, Madelyn loves to watch home videos, hangout with her family, eat homemade brownie batter, look at old pictures, explore downtown Atlanta, journal, eat pineapple in the sun, and enjoy long quiet mornings.
