Born into a military family stationed in Bury St. Edmunds, England, Olivia has moved over ten times but has called Lincoln, California home for the past four years. The oldest of five – three brothers and a sister – Olivia was homeschooled alongside her siblings. She loved the opportunities this gave her family to be together while learning through hands-on experiences. When her dad retired from the military in 2018, Olivia’s family spent 14 months living in an RV and traveling across the United States – exploring National Parks and historical sites while visiting family and friends. Despite the challenges of growing up with multiple moves and continual change, Olivia is grateful that military life knitted her family closer together and strengthened her trust in God’s purposes and plans.
When she isn’t nannying, you’ll find Olivia drinking a hot caramel latte (no matter the time of year), serving in kids ministry at church, taking photos, reading a good book (Pride and Prejudice & Les Miserables are favorites!), or hanging out with her family.
At her first state class in 2018, Olivia said nothing in TeenPact Legislature and was terrified to run for office; however, she quickly fell in love with the community and discipleship within TeenPact. She is so grateful that TeenPact has cultivated sweet friendships, deepened her understanding of our government, and strengthened her walk with the Lord. Olivia is eager to see how God will use the 2024 Intern team to help students realize their leadership potential as followers of Christ.
