Class Director

Pete Sullivan

Pete Sullivan is from the New York City area. His parents both grew up in the city, while he, and his siblings, were born in the New York/New Jersey area. They lived in the small town of Rumson on the New Jersey shore until 1973 when they moved to Orlando, Florida. Pete attended the University of Florida, graduating in 1987 with a degree in Accounting. While at UF he met my wife, Karlyn, and they got married in 1992. He spent a short amount of time as an accountant and was not successful in that. He had dreams of moving back to New York City to pursue a career on Wall Street, but the Lord had other plans for him in Tampa, FL. It was there in Tampa where Pete started his career as a Financial Advisor. Needless to say, financial advising was much better than being a CPA, and living in Tampa was much easier than living in NYC. He has now been blessed with almost thirty of working with wonderful people and helping them with their investment goals.

He and Karlyn have four children: Bailey, Madelyn (TeenPact Intern in 2016), Kathleen (TeenPact Intern in 2018), and Patrick (TeenPact Intern in 2021). Following in the family tradition, Bailey is a resident of NYC and works in finance. Maddie lives in Atlanta, GA as a full-time independent photographer. Kathleen will graduate from college in May of 2022 and will be joining Bailey in NYC to work for a management consulting firm. Patrick is set to graduate college in May of 2025. All four of their children are, or will be, graduates of Auburn University. As a family, they love just about anything that allows them to be together. Traveling all across the U.S., enjoying the great outdoors in sunny Florida, and the occasional college football game, they simply love going and doing things as a family.

Pete first heard about TeenPact from his niece, Jennifer Sullivan. Upon learning about the ministry his family was eager to get involved. After a few years, Karlyn was named State Coordinator for Florida and now serves as Field Director for the Southeast region and as Director of the TeenPact Alumni Network. His family loves this ministry and the difference it makes in the lives of the students and their families.

Pete is excited about the opportunity to serve as Class Director because it provides a meaningful way to be a blessing to the staff, students, and parents that make up the TeenPact family. He is looking forward to all the Lord has in store in this position.
