2020 TeenPact Intern

Saken Sawyer

Saken Sawyer proudly calls Texas home. In the small town of Lindale, Saken, his parents and two younger siblings enjoy everything from competitive board games to lively conversations at the dinner table.

In 2014, Saken was practically dragged to his first TeenPact State Class. He was determined to keep to himself and tried to not enjoy it. However, after just two days, Saken fell in love with the TeenPact ministry. Never before had he seen youth his age want to follow God with every aspect of their life. Since his very first class, Saken has seen how God has used TeenPact to grow himself and hundreds of other students. Saken is thrilled to serve TeenPact as a 2020 Traveling Intern and is eager to glorify God throughout the season.

When he is not traveling the country, you can find him enjoying time with his family, competing in sports, reading, listening to podcasts, or cheering on his all time favorite sports team – the Dallas Cowboys. Saken has always loved interacting with young people and has a passion for working with children with disabilities. One day Saken hopes to spend his days working with children at Scotish Rite Hospital or Challenged Athletes Foundation as a Physician’s Assistant.
