Scott Sears lives in Vancouver, Washington, though he grew up in Aberdeen. He holds a B.A. from Pacific Lutheran University, studying Recreational Programming and Psychology. Scott works as a Senior Account Manager for Antibiotics with Merck Pharmaceuticals. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his wife, Kristin, and their family, as well as fishing, camping, hiking, playing basketball and tennis, and even beachcombing for glass floats. His background in ministry and the outdoors is rich—he previously served on Young Life staff in Tacoma, worked as a youth pastor in Puyallup, and spent seven years as a white-water rafting guide on the Deschutes River.
Scott’s connection to TeenPact began in 2006 when he attended his first One-Day Class as a dad. Over the years, all four of his children have participated annually—serving as students, travel staffers, interns, and State Coordinators in both Washington and Oregon. Scott and his wife have also faithfully served at the Washington State Class in various roles for the past decade, making TeenPact a significant part of their family’s life for nearly 20 years. This year, Scott is excited to step into the role of Class Director, expanding his opportunity to invest in students and staff and support the transformative work he has seen shape his own family.
