Selah Strassheim

Selah was born in Brighton, Michigan, but raised in Zionsville, Indiana. Growing up homeschooled with her four siblings, much of her childhood felt like a grand quest, filled with wading through rivers, playing games with cousins, performing in musicals, and attending gigantic family reunions and events across the country. In her free time, Selah enjoys long walks and coffee dates with friends, making meals with her family, and rock climbing with her sister. A fun fact about Selah is that she can speak French.

Ultimately, Selah’s goal is to serve the Lord wherever and to whomever He sends her. This fall, she plans to study French and intercultural studies, with the hope of one day working with nonprofits or ministries overseas and sharing the gospel with French people. Selah attended her first TeenPact State Class in 2022 and was struck by the way Christ could transform the character of people her age. Through her time as both a student and staffer, TeenPact challenged her to become an authentic and changed believer. This season, Selah is excited to see how the Lord works through different classes, communities, and churches across the country, and to witness how He speaks to and pursues people from all walks of life.
