Susie grew up in Columbus, Mississippi, where she has lived her whole life. Some of her favorite childhood memories were made spending summer days playing with her siblings by the pond and in the woods outside her house. In her free time, Susie enjoys thrifting, practicing guitar, and playing sports with friends, especially volleyball, basketball, and pickleball. A fun fact about Susie is that her biggest fear is the Portuguese man o’ war jellyfish.
Susie plans to pursue nursing through a local community college and hopes to use it not only to meet patients’ physical needs, but also their spiritual needs. She is drawn to health care because of the many opportunities it provides to serve the Lord, whether in a hospital, overseas, or within her own family. Susie’s family was already involved with TeenPact before she attended her first State Class, and after hearing so much about it from her older siblings, she could not wait until she was old enough to go. After attending as a student for a few years, she joined the staffing program, where the Lord used TeenPact to shape her walk with Him, humble her, and teach her to place her confidence fully in Christ. This season, Susie is excited to meet people from many different places, share how Jesus has transformed her life, and encourage others in their relationship with Christ.
