Tyler was born just 15 minutes from the Augusta National Golf Club in Augusta, Georgia and after moving to the “Tar Heel State,” now calls beautiful Raleigh, North Carolina home. He is grateful for the many outdoor activities North Carolina provides with the mountains three hours west from Raleigh and the coast just two hours east.
Tyler invested most of his youth into kicking for his football team, attending church events with friends, and hiking and boating with his loving parents and awesome four siblings: Ashley Kate, Britton, Will, and Lucy. Now he enjoys spending most of his free time playing guitar, watching Clemson football, enjoying Cookout shakes with his pals, and heading to Wrightsville Beach on spontaneous surf trips with Will and his local friends. This fall he looks forward to attending Liberty University to pursue a degree in financial planning.
In 2021, Tyler attended his first State Class in Georgia and, just a few months later, his second State Class in North Carolina. He went into the first week rather indifferent to the idea of public speaking and civics but left with a solid understanding of a Christian’s role in government and a deeper love for Christ which eventually sparked a passion for taking the gospel to the nations.
Tyler is honored and humbled by this opportunity to serve with TeenPact as a Traveling Intern and cannot wait to see how hearts are healed, lives are changed, and Christ is magnified through the power of the Holy Spirit this coming season.
