Willie Hintze

Willie Hintze has been living in Chandler, AZ (southeastern suburb of Phoenix) since 2011 when he joined the College of Education faculty at Grand Canyon University. Willie was a band director in Texas and Arizona for almost 20 years, and now teaches graduate students in education. He has also served as a full-time pastor in Fine Arts, Worship, Youth, and Discipleship.

Willie has been married to his wonderful wife Wendy since 1995, and they have two daughters who have had the privilege of serving with Worldview Academy and TeenPact. As homeschoolers, TeenPact introduced the Hintze family to making a difference for Christ in the local community through State Classes. That experience has helped to cultivate a stronger love for Jesus and a passionate desire to influence younger generations for the Kingdom of God. Willie and Wendy count it as an honor to serve TeenPact, and as a Class Director Willie hopes to encourage students to love the Lord and change their generation and culture for Christ.

At home in Chandler, Willie and Wendy are enjoying being new and active members at Shepherd’s House Bible Church and growing in discipleship and faithful service. In addition to relishing as much good family time as possible, they try to genuinely live out the truth in 2 Timothy 2:2:  “…and what you have heard from me in the presence of many witnesses entrust to faithful men, who will be able to teach others also” (ESV).
