Winifred Swedzinski

Winifred is from Ghent, Minnesota, which is known as the rolle bolle capital of the world. As the eldest of five siblings, she is grateful for the close relationships she has with her family and loves the rural life they share on their farm. In her free time, Winifred enjoys reading nearly any genre of book, especially in coffee shops with an iced coffee in hand. She also loves traveling, playing volleyball and softball, sewing clothing, journaling, and playing and teaching piano. A few fun facts about Winifred are that she has climbed Pikes Peak, is a state champion in gymnastics, has won crab-walking races, and once had the opportunity to go on a mission trip to Mozambique.

Winifred first got involved with TeenPact in 2018 when her mom sent her to a One Day Class in Iowa. Her family quickly fell in love with the ministry and later helped start the Minnesota State Class alongside another family. Through TeenPact, the Lord has drawn Winifred closer to Himself through the example and community of others following Jesus. She has also learned valuable lessons about the political process, teaching, and Christian discipleship. As she studies communications at Minnesota West Community and Technical College, Winifred hopes to continue serving in ministry and one day work as a legislative assistant or clerk for the Minnesota House of Representatives. She is excited for the opportunity to grow in her speaking skills, gain more administrative experience, minister to girls on classes, and partner with the Lord in pointing students to Him.
