A Rescued and Transformed Life

Two years ago, Jordan stood at the podium at TeenPact’s National Convention, preparing to share his testimony. The room was full of students where he had once sat–uncertain, curious, and wondering what they could accomplish.

In his story, Jordan shared how God had rescued and transformed him, using TeenPact as a key instrument, through the staffers, directors, and speakers who had invested in him.

“After I finished speaking,” Jordan recalls, “I had the privilege of talking with many different students who were in the same position that I had been in. It was a beautiful, awesome moment for me. I got to watch just a small part of the Lord’s providence come full circle.”

The guidance and wisdom once poured into him was now flowing through him to others. “The staffers and directors who ministered to me made it possible for me to minister to others. The fruits of one faithful sower resound through generations.”

Life-Saving and Life-Changing Impact

Jordan’s first encounter with TeenPact wasn’t something he had planned. “What first got me involved, like many students, was my mom,” he says. “I had always been a bit of a political nerd, but spending a week at the capitol didn’t really appeal to me.”

That first State Class turned out to be pivotal. “TeenPact was the first environment that really pushed me to get up and do things–be involved in my community, be committed to my church, and be serious about my faith. But it was more than just doing things. It was doing them well.”

He remembers the change clearly: “I went from being a lackadaisical student to a genuinely engaged learner. From lazy to invested and hard-working. Christ’s example is incompatible with the ‘good enough’ sentiment, and TeenPact helped me see that.”

Beyond inspiring Jordan to pursue excellence, he credits God using TeenPact’s community to literally save his life. “TeenPact–plain and simple–was the primary tool that God used to save my life. At the lowest point, the community came alongside me to lift me up and minister to me in my faith. The program elements encouraged me to continue pursuing Christ and His Kingdom, despite the troubles in my life. And the trust placed in me as a young leader reminded me that God had already rescued me, so I didn’t need to wait for some magic age to start living for Him.”

From that point on, Jordan poured himself into the work–staffing events, leading teams, mentoring younger students. Each role deepened his faith and expanded his vision for what young people could accomplish when they pursued Christ wholeheartedly.

“So much of my character today reflects the men and women who served in the ministry. My career path and professional opportunities are, in part, because of TeenPact, but ultimately because of the way God used it to shape me.”

Full Circle, Great Commission Impact

Which brings us back to that day at NatCon. As Jordan looked into the eyes of the students lined up to speak with him, he saw echoes of his younger self–eager yet uncertain, curious yet cautious.

“I saw the same opportunity in these young people that my mentors had once seen in me,” he says. The moment reminded him of how God works through faithful mentorship, allowing one generation to pass wisdom and encouragement to the next.

Jordan is now a JD Candidate at the University of Florida School of Law, continuing to seek ways to love and serve the Lord and others with courage and boldness.

This spring, thousands of students will step into the same opportunity Jordan had. TeenPact is deeply grateful for supporters who invest in the Great Commission impact in the rising generation–through prayers, time, and gifts–helping disciple students and teach them to obey all that Jesus has commanded.
