Through dynamic experiences, TeenPact seeks to inspire youth in their relationship with Christ and train them to understand the political process, value their liberty, defend the Christian faith, and engage the culture around them. “Changing lives to change the world” is more than a vision statement to us. It’s what we do every day.
At TeenPact, we believe students learn best by doing. That’s why our State Classes are comprised of focused hands-on leadership training. With classes offered across the nation and for students ages 8-19, young people will quickly discover how to embrace their call as the next generation of leaders through the unique tools, teaching, and opportunities TeenPact provides.
Our Alumni Events take students deeper in their relationship with Christ as they build lasting community and grow through intentional leadership training. While events activities range from meeting legislators on Capitol Hill to team building in South Dakota, the focus is the same – training students to be influential and servant-hearted leaders.
We believe in the capacity of young people to lead. You don’t need to be old enough to vote to impact your government, your community, or your world. TeenPact trains these young people to embrace their call as the next generation of leaders by giving them the tools, teaching, and opportunities to do so.
We pursue this vision by holding fast to the following values.
Changing Lives to Change the World
We seek to inspire youth in their relationship with Christ and train them to understand the political process, value their liberty, defend the Christian faith, and engage the culture at a time in their lives when, typically, they do not care about such things.
We believe:
We believe the chief end of man is to glorify God and enjoy Him forever. All things were created through Christ and for Him, and in everything we seek His preeminence. We aim that every aspect of what we do would exalt Jesus Christ and lead others to know, love, and worship Him. (Colossians 1:15–20; Philippians 2:9–11)
We believe the Bible is the inspired and infallible Word of God and is our ultimate authority for all of life. Scripture serves as the final standard for truth and the foundation for just and righteous governance. As we submit to the human authorities God has established, we submit to and obey God’s Word in all things. (2 Timothy 3:16–17; Psalm 19:7–11; Romans 13:1–7)
We believe all true growth in godliness is the supernatural work of the Holy Spirit working through the Word of God in His people. Through gospel-centered discipleship, we cultivate an environment that helps students learn and practice abiding in Christ through Word-centered and Spirit-led prayer, study, fellowship, and worship. As we align with God’s design for the family and church, we aim for students to grow in personal holiness and maturity, bearing lasting fruit for the glory of God. (John 15:4–5; Colossians 2:6–7; Galatians 5:22–23)
We believe all things belong to God, and our time, talents, and resources are graciously entrusted to us for His purposes. As those purchased by His blood, we are compelled to act as faithful stewards in all spheres of life–including our family, church, and state. We seek to honor the Lord through diligence, excellence, and generosity as we intentionally steward the influence He has given us to represent Him in the world. (Colossians 3:23–24; Romans 12:1; 1 Peter 4:10–11)
We believe prayer is both a privilege and a necessity in the Christian life. Through prayer, we commune with our Heavenly Father, express our absolute dependence on Him, and align our hearts with His purposes. We seek to practice personal devotion and corporate intercession, acknowledging that apart from Him, we can do nothing. (Philippians 4:6–7; Ephesians 6:18; 1 Thessalonians 5:17; John 15:5; 1 Timothy 2:1–2)
