Only A Moment

Stepping into new experiences can be scary. That’s exactly how Samantha Ehrenberg felt the first time she attended a Four Day State Class. She was shy, nervous, and kept asking herself: Did I really want to be here?

But she took a step anyway.

“I asked a girl to sign my box game and she was so kind and talkative, she made me feel super welcome. When I got finished I knew I wanted to be her friend.”

A little later, the class began—and Samantha noticed that same girl on stage. She was a staffer. In that single, fleeting moment, Samantha knew something important: if she ever had the opportunity, she wanted to staff with the same kindness and warmth that had made such a difference for her.

Stepping Up, Stepping Out

That simple interaction inspired Samantha to step further out of her comfort zone, continue pursuing Christ, and embrace a passion for civic engagement.

“It can be in small things like adults asking why I have so much confidence when I speak, or how I am so passionate about Christ, or the reason why I have an opinion when it comes to topics such as politics or the news.” Samantha says, “ These things did not just appear in my life—they had to be developed and TeenPact helped greatly in it.”

The growth Samantha experienced goes far beyond understanding government or civic education. It’s about shaping a standard of excellence that carries into every part of life—building confidence, character, and a Christ-centered approach to leadership that shapes students as whole people.

The Power of Still Moments

Through TeenPact, Samantha discovered that growth doesn’t always come from big moments. Sometimes, it comes from the quiet ones—the small nudges, the subtle encouragements, and the stillness that gives space to learn and reflect.

The Lord has used each alumni event, state class, staff training, to push me out of my bubble and grow in a deeper relationship with Him. The biggest lesson He’s taught me is how to use the still moment of life for His glory.

These still moments, though subtle, are powerful. They give us space to pause, reflect, and dive deeper into who we want to become. For Samantha, those moments became the foundation for confidence, purpose, and leadership rooted in Christ.

A Mission That Comes Alive

At TeenPact, a motto is more than just words—it’s a mission. And that mission comes alive in students like Samantha.

“The motto of TeenPact is: Changing lives to Change the World. I am that life changed.

From a shy student unsure if she belonged, to a confident leader ready to serve, Samantha’s story shows how small acts of kindness, quiet reflection, and intentional growth can transform a life—and through that life, impact the world.
