Donovan Gibbs

Donovan grew up in a small town in Montana, where being homeschooled and living close to his siblings helped build friendships with them that remain strong to this day. Many of his favorite memories were made with his siblings, whether they were camping in the mountains, working together on the ranch, having meaningful conversations, or simply laughing and joking together. In his free time, Donovan enjoys studying God’s Word with friends, having conversations about faith, life, and theology, and spending time outdoors. He loves hiking, exploring the hills on a four-wheeler or dirt bike, caring for cattle on the ranch, playing music, and woodworking. A fun fact about Donovan is that, even though he might be a rancher, he loves surfing.

Looking ahead, Donovan hopes to eventually manage and take over his family’s ranch while becoming more engaged in ministry in his home community. TeenPact has played a significant role in preparing him for both, especially through serving on the Intern Team, where he was challenged to grow as a leader and intentionally invest in others. Donovan first attended TeenPact State Class in 2019 with his siblings, not realizing it would become one of the most influential experiences of his life. What he expected to be a week focused on government and politics became a week that challenged him to grow in faith, character, and leadership. Through the example of godly leaders, encouragement from peers, and opportunities to step out in faith, the Lord used TeenPact to build, mold, mentor, and disciple him. This season, Donovan is excited to invest in students the way others invested in him and to see the Lord move in hearts across the country, giving students a fire to engage the culture around them with the love of Christ.
