The TeenPact 2024 National Convention, themed “Steadfast,” brought together hundreds of young people from across the nation to be inspired, equipped, and transformed in their faith and leadership. Held at the beautiful Lee University campus in Cleveland, TN, this year’s convention focused on instilling a Christ-centered foundation and a commitment to steadfastness in every aspect of life.
Throughout the week, students participated in morning and evening devotions, inspiring keynote sessions, dynamic worship experiences, sports tournaments, and fun activities. The theme of “Steadfast” was woven into every element of the event, reminding attendees of the importance of standing firm in their faith and convictions, even in the face of challenges.
One parent shared, “It has given me a fresh start with new motivation to deepen my relationship with Christ and others.” Another parent remarked, “Our family has been blown away and impacted, from our younger to our older children. Our older kids continue to be impacted even after leaving TeenPact!”
Students also experienced profound growth during the convention. One young man expressed, “NatCon has brought me a group of young men to help me strengthen my faith and gain new brothers. It has taught me what it means to be steadfast in the Lord, and trust that all is in His hands.” Another student said, “NatCon has truly changed my life. Whether it’s by new relationships I’ve made or old ones, this community has shaped my life and impacted my decisions and my mindset. The worship truly centered my week and life around Christ in an amazing way and the speakers made me think and consider what they were teaching. I can’t put a number or rating on this week. It was truly amazing.”
The convention not only deepened students’ faith but also pushed them to develop their leadership skills and step out of their comfort zones. One attendee shared, “Yes, my time at NatCon pushed me out of my comfort zone and gave me some of the best friends I have.” Another reflected, “It has made me realize not to rely on myself, but on the Lord.”
The impact of the 2024 National Convention extended beyond the individual experiences of students and parents. It fostered a sense of community and worship that many attendees found lacking in their daily lives. One student noted, “NatCon is an amazing event that emphasizes the value of community and worship, something I don’t get enough of back home.”
Parent testimonials echoed the sentiments of growth and encouragement. “I learned leadership principles, and the Lord spoke to me about suffering that I needed to hear,” shared one parent. Another said, “It has been encouraging and challenging for growing in the Lord.”
The TeenPact National Convention 2024 embodied the mission of TeenPact: to inspire youth in their relationship with Christ, train them to understand the political process, value their liberty, defend the Christian faith, and engage the culture with a Christ-centered worldview. As one attendee put it, “I am greatly encouraged to continue to hold steadfast.”
With the powerful theme of “Steadfast” guiding every session, activity, and conversation, the 2024 National Convention left an indelible mark on all who attended. The testimonies of both students and parents underscore the life-changing impact of TeenPact’s commitment to raising up a generation of steadfast leaders rooted in their faith.
