Mason Hook comes to TeenPact from the great plains of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, where tornado warnings turn into a spectator sport. With his parents, brother, and two dogs, Mason loves exploring his creative hometown which is making a name for itself as one of the best coffee scenes in the U.S.
In hindsight, Mason is extremely thankful that his mom took him to his first TeenPact class in 2011, even though he was reluctant and uncomfortable in his clip-on tie. It wasn’t until his first Four Day Class that he fell in love with the ministry. Through TeenPact, he saw that being a teenager was more than apathy and misbehavior. Inspired to strive for purpose and live above what is expected of him, God has used TeenPact to dramatically impact Mason’s life as he leads in his family, church, and friend groups. He is ecstatic about the opportunity to serve as a 2019 TeenPact Program Director and help equip students to be leaders in so many areas of life, not just politics.
Among his myriad of passions, Mason enjoys traveling, hiking, spending time with his friends, taking pictures of people and places, and reading about international politics and social issues. Ever driven, Mason has hiked well over 500 miles in dozens of states. Make sure you ask him about his favorite National Park when you meet him. His goal is to visit all 59 National Parks by the time he is 30 years old, and he is about a fifth of the way there. A true creative, Mason loves working on random design projects, drinking La Croix with friends, listening to jazz, and catching sunrises.
