If you’ve ever watched an episode of The Chosen, you’ve likely been moved by its powerful portrayal of Jesus’ life. Look closely at the credits, and you’ll see a name that might surprise you—Noah Diaz.

But before stepping onto that set as an intern, Noah’s faith and leadership journey was already well underway, rooted deeply in his experiences at TeenPact.

Noah recalls, “After another internship I had lined up fell through, I prayed and asked God to show me what He wanted me to do that summer. Then I found an opening with The Chosen—and it turned out to be something even better than I expected.”

As a production assistant on set, Noah ran errands, helped with crew and talent hospitality, and shadowed departments like audio and lighting. The days were long, the set was quiet during filming, and the crew was a mix of believers and non-believers.

“It was intimidating at first,” Noah admits. “But the coolest part was seeing how The Chosen is making Jesus known to the world, even though not everyone on set shares that faith.”

The show itself sparked natural conversations about Jesus, giving Noah the chance to share his faith with coworkers in authentic, meaningful ways.

Early Foundations in Faith and Leadership

Noah’s TeenPact story began when he was just eight years old, attending a One Day State Class in Indiana.

“I didn’t understand everything back then, but I remember the staff being kind and mature beyond their years,” he recalls.

At thirteen, he joined the Four Day State Class. “That first Four Day class was unlike anything I had experienced before. Everyone was so purpose-driven. The staff really influenced me. They modeled a maturity in their faith and leadership that I hadn’t seen before,” Noah reflects. “I had a relationship with God, but TeenPact helped me take ownership of my faith.”

Growing Confidence and Discovering Purpose

Noah returned for two more years, each time becoming more invested. By fifteen, he applied to staff—a pivotal shift from follower to leader.

“I was nervous leading a committee, but it was so much fun,” he says. Staffing gave him confidence and revealed leadership abilities he didn’t know he had.

Even during the pandemic, Noah stayed involved—staffing TeenPact’s unique New Mexico online class and running for TeenPact Vice President in an intense race decided by just three votes.

“That campaign taught me about focus, outreach, and giving your all, even when success isn’t guaranteed. Those lessons have shaped how I approach everything, including media and my faith.”

Discovering a Passion for Media

At fifteen, a Christmas gift—a camera—sparked what would become his career path. What began with photographing friends and family events grew into a passion for visual storytelling. A college career coach (and TeenPact mom) helped him connect his creativity to his studies. Now a junior at Liberty University, Noah is majoring in Strategic Communications with a video production minor.

He’s filmed everything from college sports to concerts to a NASCAR race, but his favorite remains football—where keeping the camera steady while marveling at a play can be its own challenge.

Your Impact: Shaping the Next Generation

Looking back, Noah sees a clear thread through it all: “TeenPact gave me tangible skills and intangible confidence. It prepared me to engage culture thoughtfully and to lead with faith, even in challenging environments.”

Today, Noah’s dream is to work as a video producer, telling stories that inspire and share truth with the world. His time on The Chosen gave him clarity about his calling and his life balance.

“Besides church and my family, TeenPact has been one of the biggest influences in growing my relationship with God and my ability to lead,” he says.

Because of your generosity, Noah’s story isn’t unique—it’s one of hundreds being written every year. Thank you for helping raise up the next generation of leaders who will boldly follow Jesus wherever he calls them.
