Read PostThrough dynamic experiences, TeenPact seeks to inspire youth in their relationship with Christ and train them to understand the political process, value their liberty, defend the Christian faith, and engage the culture around them. “Changing lives to change the world” is more than a vision statement to us. It’s what we do every day.
At TeenPact, we believe students learn best by doing. That’s why our State Classes are comprised of focused hands-on leadership training. With classes offered across the nation and for students ages 8-19, young people will quickly discover how to embrace their call as the next generation of leaders through the unique tools, teaching, and opportunities TeenPact provides.
Our Alumni Events take students deeper in their relationship with Christ as they build lasting community and grow through intentional leadership training. While events activities range from meeting legislators on Capitol Hill to team building in South Dakota, the focus is the same – training students to be influential and servant-hearted leaders.
In today’s culture, our teenagers face unprecedented spiritual challenges. Research from George Barna indicates that only about one in three American teens are committed to following Christ, while another third identify as Christians but have yet to make a personal commitment to Jesus. This leaves many young people navigating their faith journeys without the guidance they desperately need.
As one donor powerfully stated, “We must reach these young people now. TeenPact offers an amazing platform to help these teens have the apologetics and the discipleship they need to become salt and light—in the government and in all parts of life. I have witnessed significant transformation in my grandchildren who have been trained and discipled through their participation in TeenPact’s programs.” TeenPact’s programs.”
Barna’s research highlights a critical gap: Generation Z lacks sufficient mentorship to learn how to follow Jesus and apply biblical truth to all areas of life. Many teens express a sincere desire to follow Christ but struggle to do so without proper guidance. Barna emphasizes that “having a spiritual mentor is one of the strongest factors for helping young people develop a resilient faith.” Learn more about Barna’s research here.
TeenPact steps into this vital role, providing trusted and trained leaders and a solid biblical foundation that empowers students to embrace their faith. Each year, our carefully trained, Christ-centered peer leaders guide students in living boldly for Jesus. These young leaders inspire their peers to cultivate a lasting, resilient faith, encouraging them to allow Christ to shape their actions and decisions in all aspects of life.
The transformation seen in our students is a testament to the effectiveness of TeenPact’s programs. Here are a few quotes from students that illustrate the powerful impact of their experiences:
The impact is not just felt by the students. Parents are also witnessing remarkable transformations. One parent shared, “TeenPact has changed my child’s life. They came back with a new passion for their faith and a clear understanding of their place as a Christian in our country. This program is a true answer to prayer for our family.”
As we look ahead, TeenPact is planning to host 64 State Classes in 2025, aiming to reach over 6,000 students. This ambitious goal underscores the need for our programs and the urgency of mentorship in a world where many young people are seeking guidance. Each State Class and Alumni Event is an incredible opportunity for teens to engage deeply with their faith and develop their leadership skills.
Your continued support provides a rich and impactful learning environment for all students. Together, we can inspire and empower the next generation to live boldly for Christ, fulfilling the call of Ephesians 2:10: “For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them.”
