Introducing the Newest TeenPact State

Two weeks ago we announced the 2018 State Class dates and last week we shared biographies and pictures of the 2018 Program Directors and Interns. Though we are only a little over halfway through 2017, much of the attention in the TeenPact office and around the TeenPact Nation is on the 2018 season.

Over the last few years as I have worked with the Board of Directors, the National Office Employees, Interns and Program Directors, parents, and other volunteers, I am often asked what the future holds for TeenPact Leadership Schools. We have grown our Four Day and One Day Classes, we had the largest and most successful National Convention ever, and we are on track to have record attendance at many of our Alumni events this summer and fall.

Yet not every student has the opportunity of attending a TeenPact State Class in their home state, learning about their state government and visiting their state capitol. I have a desire to see TeenPact Leadership Schools in all 50 states, allowing all students this wonderful opportunity.

I am very excited to let you know that we are expanding the reach of TeenPact into one additional state, having State Classes in 42 states. We are pleased to announce that we will be holding our first annual TeenPact State Class in Carson City, Nevada from February 12-16, 2018!

If you wondered if all the promotions and announcements on Facebook and Instagram were worth the effort, look no further than Nevada. Our newest State Coordinator, Amber Cooper, heard about TeenPact through friends on Facebook. She reached out to us with interest, shared about the State Class with many other friends, and next February we will have our first class in the great “Silver State” of Nevada.

Please be praying for all the details to be worked out for each of our 2018 State Classes and for our expansion to other states. Where will we go next? Only God knows, and we trust Him to lead us.

Keep seeking,

Peter Martin, President
