TeenPact’s vision is “Changing Lives to Change the World.” We offer Christian discipleship programs throughout the summer for our TeenPact Four Day Class Alumni students.

Please enjoy this student testimony from Skylar Babin, an Alumni student from Florida who attended TeenPact Congress, August 9-14, 2015.

If I could describe TeenPact Congress in one simple word (which is incredibly difficult), it would be ‘inspirational’. At Congress, you get the unique opportunity to understand your government in a complete, hands on manner where TeenPacters actually become the government. We get to a behind-the-scenes look at how reporters and lobbyists directly influence representatives and senators all while actually being the reporters, lobbyists, representatives, and senators for the entire week! Though, at first glance, the purpose of Congress is to pass laws, the actual purpose of Congress is so much more: Congress brought me closer to Christ, it gave me a platform to negotiate, work together, and communicate persuasively, and it inspired me to have a voice in my community.

Congress brought me closer to Christ.

Additionally, I met some incredible people, took home memories that will last a lifetime, and just had a wonderful week. How amazing it is that to spend an entire six days worshiping and glorifying God with a group of united Christian friends!

Congress, along with any TeenPact event, changes lives to change the world.

TeenPact Congress offers students four tracks as a Representative, Senator, Lobbyist, or Reporter. This experience trains students for leadership in order to impact their families, their communities, and their world.

We have plans to return to Tallahassee, Florida for TeenPact Congress next summer. We hope you’ll join us.
