Class Directors Explain their Motivation to Serve

TeenPact partners with godly men from around the nation who serve as Class Directors alongside our student leadership teams. During State Classes, the Class Director shares biblically-based talks during TeenPact Evening Sessions, challenging the students to grow in their faith. The Class Director also serves as a spiritual leader for the Staff Team, acting as a mentor to the Program Director and other members of the team.

Below, several Class Directors share their reasons for serving in this vital role.

“I love the ‘big picture’ role of Class Directing – being able to meet and encourage State Coordinators and their teams; meeting and encouraging parents, both those who drop students off for class and those who chaperone for the week; walking with and helping guide staff teams during the course of the week, loving them and investing in them; helping create an atmosphere in a class environment that encourages honest personal growth and evaluation in the hearts of students, providing a “safe place” to ask questions, share needs and take their next best steps in following Jesus,” shares Bob Chambers, Founder and Executive Director, PeopleLinQ Inc.

“Helping students lean the weight of their life on Jesus and learn to impact their world as Christ-like servant leaders is why I love to serve as a Class Director,” says Quin Cools, TeenPact’s Vice President of Operations.

What motivates me to continue to serve in this role is the opportunity to impact students, staff (and parents), through teaching, encouraging, and mentoring them during the week I am with them,” relates Dr. Tommy Carrington, Associate Professor of Christian Ministries at Taylor University and Founder/President at Impact 922 Ministries

“The impact on the students and seeing their hearts turned to Jesus” brings Steve Crum, Senior Pastor at Spirit of Life Ministries, back each year to serve on multiple State Classes.

“I enjoy seeing the lights come on in students’ eyes when they see the application of God’s Word with government and our founding principles,” writes Bill Jack, Co-founder of Worldview Academy and Faculty of Theology.

TeenPact is abundantly grateful for all of these men who are willing to serve in this important aspect of training up the next generation of leaders through TeenPact State Classes. Further information about this position and all Class Directors can be found here.
