Four Day Class

April 6-9, 2020

The Four Day Class is a dynamic, hands-on leadership experience where students learn about state government from a Christian worldview. Students gather at their local State Capitol to run for student office, participate in a mock legislature, and learn about how they can be effective leaders in their community back home. For students ages 13-19.

Students should plan to meet at the Idaho State Capitol by 12:45 p.m. to check in prior to the start of the class. Staffers will meet you to direct you to the Welcome Table. All students should eat lunch prior to arriving at class on Monday.

Please review the TeenPact Dress Code prior to attending your State Class.

Evening Sessions are an integral part of the TeenPact experience, allowing students to combine the academic emphasis in class with a spiritual focus on students’ relationships with God and one another. Following our time at the Capitol, TeenPact offers Evening Sessions that give students the opportunity to relax and fellowship with like-minded peers in a more casual environment. Students play games, participate in small groups, enjoy a time of worship, and are challenged by a message from the Class Director.

Check back soon for more information and location details.

Parents are invited to stay for as much of the class as possible. We love having parents observe what their students are learning! If you are not able to stay, you are welcome to drop off your student.

Please join us for graduation on Thursday beginning at 1:00 p.m. During graduation, students participate in a short mock legislative session, hear speeches from the elected officials, hear a charge from the Program Director, receive graduation certificates, and much more!

Students and families are invited to join us at the Tru by Hilton Hotel for just $90 per night, plus tax. To make Reservations, you can call the hotel directly at 208-519-3535. If you have any questions, contact your State Coordinator, Courtney Skeen, for more information.

NOTE: TeenPact is not responsible for the safety and supervision of students outside of class hours. The Tru by Hilton Hotel expects all attendees at the hotel have adult supervision.
