Kennedy McGaughey

Kennedy was born and raised in Independence, Missouri, a suburb of Kansas City, where she enjoyed the famous barbeque, vast variety of coffee shops, and best of all, the Kansas City Chiefs. When she was 10 years old, her family began the difficult, but rewarding journey of adoption through foster care, where she transitioned from the oldest of three to the second oldest of six, a chaotic household that she adores.

In her free time, Kennedy loves anything fine arts related, whether playing piano, reading from her book collection, writing, or her favorite; watercolor painting. She is also passionate about healthcare, the human body, and all things science, currently continuing her education in Nursing through Liberty University. Additionally, Kennedy has a heart for listening to others’ stories, as well as deep-diving into Theology and Bible study.

After attending her first TeenPact class in 2022, Kennedy’s heart and perspective of leadership were forever altered. She immediately felt compelled to immerse herself in the ministry, whereupon doing so, the Lord grew and challenged her, stretching her leadership abilities and ultimately, deepening her relationship with Him. She is filled with thanksgiving to serve as an intern and cannot wait to witness the Lord’s provision this season.
