Bethany was born in Austin, Texas, but grew up with her older sister (and best friend) Rachel in “State Fifty Eight—” sunny, Southwest Arizona. Mountain views, warm breezes, and stunning sunsets remind her of home.
Bethany gets excited about being involved in her local church’s youth ministry and worship team, working at a tiny gourmet ice cream shop called Cream of the Crop, listening and singing along to a wide range of music, and most of all, spending intentional time with family and friends. She’s participated in a handful of sports over the years, the most recent of which was competitive East Coast Swing Dancing, where she won multiple titles during international competitions. She is also a big fan of making and enjoying a good meal, thrifting, spontaneous adventure, and the color orange.
At her first TeenPact class, the Lord softened and transformed Bethany’s heart in many ways and used the example the Staff set to strengthen her relationship with the Lord significantly. Bethany in turn, became passionate about this generation being reached with the simple and profound joy of the Gospel of Jesus Christ, and is humbled and overjoyed to be serving in the capacity of Traveling Intern this coming season. She looks forward to being challenged to rely on the Lord in new ways, being used to serve the Kingdom, and having a front-row seat to the work the Lord is doing through this ministry.
